3rd - Filtration, Alistair

Can you believe how frustrating it is to get three filters stood on end without rolling off the table?

A most wonderful play of light and color - it's an abstract work of art.

One really nice picture and fine idea.

Gum then, how about some chewing gum, plop it on the table then squelch the edges in - and you get to re-use the gum after :-)

Guys... I hate to spoil the tape discussions, but the original intention was to have the whole of the filters in the shot, so tape wasn't an option :( Thanks for the comments anyway, and I will invest in some tape I promise :) Alistair

Can you get gaffer tape in the UK or is it a US thing?
Sorry, a bit off the topic of the image!

This image is neat, the colors are very pleasing and soft.
About the sticky tape issue: buy the house painters masking tape. the tape is designed to be removed easily and not leave residue.
I learned about this tape watching the "this old house" program on PBS

This is very nice, really like how you have left just enough of the edges in the frame so we know where the splashes of colour come from.
BTW, I find duct tape solves most positioning challenges, only drawback is getting it off again!
