I really like this image and would have snapped it myself had I seen something like it. I love patterns in nature/culture. The only flaw is the strong lighting that places a shadow on the left. I would have liked flatter lighting that emphasized the geometric look of the cut logs in the V.

Nice details, I like the contrast between the cut ends of the logs and the bark of the living tree.
