The colors are so unusual - the blue and purple provide a real jolt of visual surprise. And the sharpness of the focus on those thorns and flowers (buds and bloom) is remarkable. It injects (ouch) a strong textural element. Great shot! Brenda

I love the colors in the background, it gives your picture a very southwestern look to it. The flower and prickly thorns are nice and clear/sharp. Good shot Richard.
