What a nice fountain. I really like the use of the cat tails shooting water up in the air. I also like the Lion/Gargoyles drooling the water out from the top layer to the layer below. Looks like she is a favorite of the birds too. I love looking at fountains with so much going on. This is a nice one from her head down to the fine scroll work around the the first water pool. Great job in catching all the detail too. :o)

Thanks, Richard! I decided on this one at the very last minute. I have another shot similar to this - although not as close - and can crop it differently. But it is probably too late to replace as the competition is closed now. I'll do it for my own benefit. I appreciate the feedback, as always.

My dyslexia was looking for the water beaver. dah
I like the high shutter speed used on this and how it made the droplets out of the water flow.

The only Post processing changes I would make would be to add a little more contrast.
Very slight though.
And uncrop the top of the image so I could see the apex of the high spout of water that is if it was not shot this way.
