This picture was taken on the Indonesian island Flores, near Bajawa. All the clouds are really clouds, not steam or sulphur.

Just as I was going to have a look at the next shot, those 2 birds caught my eye. Maybe a buzzard or two?

Fantastic shot Chris! The ridges coming right toward you from the top of the volcano and I love that you have this old deadwood in the foreground. It looks like it got caught in the volcano's rath a long long time ago. Nice composition!

wow, the color and over all tone is great. Are those cluds from a steam vent? Where is this volcano?
