Hi Oldfogey - Re the chainsaw, I think the engine "cuts out" when a trigger held down by hand is released...which would be the case (hopefully!) if the Sawyer lost his footing. VicW

The picture makes one wonder what would happen if he were to slip with the saw running. I'm glad to see that he has a safety line - although I'm certain that a pendulum swing on it would have been quite terrifying. You must have feared for his safety.

I like this one even better than the other view - a good choice of crop makes this composition more dynamic
