thank you Miro Brenda and Shirley, this is one of the first images that I took and got just exactly what I had imageined it would look like on screen. More often than not I am surprised by the camera results...

Fabulous textures! This is really effective, in part because you've zoomed in so close to pick up the fine detail. Great shot (and visual metaphor; we all bear scars and fresher wounds, after all). Brenda

Great 3D affect in this shot! It's like this piece of bark is suspended in air. Really neat! Great detail on the bark too. Remember in the 70s how something like this would go on the coffee table with candles on it? Well, this one would have been a beauty.
