Absolutely beautiful.

Thank you all for the very nice comments. Brenda, you're right there is another little buggie. :o) I got this out of my archives from way back and I remember working and working to get this flower the right shade. Now, I am shooting RAW and it might not have been quite so hard. It was just an ugly orangy color instead of the proper red it really was. Again, thanks a bunch folks!

Nicely done. Agree with others.

Very nice shot, I love the detail on the stamens.

Wow, Shirley, this is gorgeous. The curves of the petals and stamens are so graceful. I actually see two bugs - the bigger one at the top and a teeny guy toward the base of the stamen cluster. Plus maybe even a third as a speck on one of the stamens. This would be a paradise for these small beings.

Just an all-around beautiful shot.

Agreed, it a deep red. very nice focus and dof. I like that lone critter lounging on the petal. Very nice Shirley.

I like this a lot, and OOF green sets the red off nicely.

Beautiful flower, well presented with the soft green background.

Now that is a deep red! Great shot, love the detail in this and the little bug.

Nice, Shirley. It's a great big rolling red carpet for that little bug. :-)
