I like the crop here (photo crop as opposed to the one the jockey is holding), because the emphasis is on the animal's extension over the fence, and the musculature that shows how athletic he is. That eye and ear, both attentive to the rider, add an interesting touch as well.
Focus is bang-on. Really well done.

Yep, I missed his nose... You should have seen some of the other attempts, just the tail disappearing out the frame :-)

The musculature on this animal is impressive. Look like the horse'll always lose by a nose, though. :-)
