Brenda, you may very right about his disturbing feline thoughts. Tommy cat just walk into our live's about two years ago and became the Alpha monster cat. Freddy sometimes stews over being pushed around by him and this may be one of those times.

Rich, I really like the fine detail on the muzzle and nose. And the single, tiny sparkle in that eye. The POV is really effective, IMO - it suggests but doesn't reveal. Freddy becomes an enigmatic creature, thinking arcane and maybe even disturbing feline thoughts.

Yes Carlo, He is jealous of the computer and often sits right in front of my 22in Samsung monitor, and as you said, follows the mouse pointer. On occasion he stands up and looks behind the monitor. I must pet him to make him lie down so I may continue my work. You are correct about cat activating the mouse; he has taken it to a higher level by hitting my finger with his tail and activating it. Can be very annoying at times

I love this cat. They're great companions aren't they? I bet he was watching the mouse pointer on the screen. All too often my cat does that and I think purpusefully steps on the enter button. Nice.

Freddy and I are the best of buddies; he is sitting in front of the monitor at this very moment because he can't sit on my lap while I work at the computer. He also comforts me when I am ill and entertains me when I least expect it. The spontaneity is wonderful. It lets me know that life is not all that serious.

It looks, you and your cat have a nice agreement. He doing a lot of posing for you and you provide him a good, comfortable life. Fair and good for both of you and for the rest of us;-)

Low key or not, I think it is a very interesting perspective - perhaps a bit of selective lightening on the eye? - I like how the body pulls the eye left to right and the face turns you back into the center of the shot. brent
