I see you changed the title... when I first saw it, a certain painting did come to mind. I wouldn't add any props tho, the unknown is more terrifying than what can be seen :)

Film noir is right, it is almost a poster wating for the actors names to be added

This is a perfectly executed low key shot - with a nice touch of film noir. I think you should work the film noir angle of it, by placing something foreboding just entering the frame on the right hand side foreground (knife, hand, etc?). I think it definitely has potential in that direction for sure.
