This looks like the first sunrise of the planet. What an incredible feeling of purity! endika

Nature sure knows how to choose her colors, doesn't she? And you've sure caught them for all to see here, Dennis. And the herd of 'things' off in the mist caps it off. Love it.

Low key atmosphere at it's finest! It's great when a picture is so vivid that it makes you "hear" something. I can literally hear the silence in this scene. Colors and composition are superb.

Yeah, my thought too. Looks like a herd of dinosaurs in the background. Excellent picture !

Thanks all for the nice comments. I can assure it was sunrise, I got out of bed in the dark and drove for about an hour to the location. The sunrise was about 7.00am and it Sunday morning 9 March. My camera clock/calendar must need adjusting?

Early evening start is more accurate term, but picture is stunning anyway.

Wow, now there is a treat for the eyes. Very rare to get colour like that at sunrise (well, it is round here anyway!. Super shot, the low mist really makes this magical.
Well worth the early start - btw, the timestamp in the exif looks wrong for sunrise?
