A warm and beautiful tone to this shot - honey is a magical substance in my opinion, because it not only tastes wonderful but it also offers health benefits. I recently read "The Secret Life of Bees" and was fascinated by all the details about beekeeping. The composition, the amber light, the delectable drop of sweetness -- great combination of elements!

Thanks again guys. That's a great idea Stefan. I might just do that.

Carlo, you might think about framing this as a gift to your neighbor - I suspect he'll like it as much as we do.

the gold light really works well to speak of honey. Love the extra details - the drip on the lip of the cup, the odd shapes of the honey stick and cup and the slight adds of color. brent

I think this is my fav, the bright yellow background really works well for this one.

I like this one too, specially the drop on the nose of the cup.

Thanks Shirley, I get a jar every year from my neighbor. Sometimes the queen flies off and create a huge hive under my patio cover. My neighbor just comes over and just takes them all back by pulling them back into their bee box. Amazing how he can do that without any protection. Just bare hands and no face cover as I watch through my living room window. good stuff.

My father insisted on buying honey on the combs, said it was the best. I just buy mine in the little bears in the veggie stands that pop up every summer. This is a beautiful shot Carlo! The little drip on the spout of the honey pot and the shine on the honey itself are very nice. Now, where's my cup of tea?!
