They are indeed lovely looking birds, and though bird pics don't normally do much for me, this works on more levels, i.e. as a picture in its own right, rather than just a document. Like very much. Alistair

They're beautiful - I love watching terns in flight, with their wings like scythes cutting the air.

This is a most interesting POV as well. Lovely shot.

Nice shot really. I'm always amused looking at the flock of birds flying all directions and they will newer bump each other, no mater how many of them are involved.

Thank guys. This is about one of the only flying bums ( Retreating Bird) pictures that I have got to work. I have got the thank the little feller in the middle that turned his body at the right moment. As to the movie I will hunt it up.

Charlie is right! It's like you are gliding right along with them. Nothing seems more fluid then a bird soaring through the air (to me). Beautiful shot Collin. Oh and Collin if you've never seen the film "Winged Migration", go buy it! I have it and I never get tired of watching it. It's a very relaxing film with amazing footage and great original music.

Very nice photo Collin. Reminds me of the WInged Migration film.

very nice indeed, really like this one. Great how you have got the focus on the bird at the center of the composition, the only one with his head in profile.
