Thanks all. The ground was semi-frozen, but the sun was breaking through the mist, and melted the frost, so normal dampness ensued. I'm calling this the 7-14 tree. It fell and continues to grow sideways. You can't go wrong pointing the 7-14 at it : ) Bruce
