Isn't it funny how that little patch of in focus green and brown seems to draw all our eyes to it. I love the fall colored leaf so soft and the forground so rough and prickly looking. I thought it was an old moth eaten wool sweater you got for Christmas last year. :o) The lighting is really nice Brent!

Excellent Brent. There's just a tiny zone of in-focus area, and the rest of the frame is actually quite overwhelming, making me feel very small. Nice one !

Love the way the jagged edge of the leaf contrasts w the fuzzy edge of the?

Very nice indeed, I really like this one, lovely deep colours. The tiny bits of hair and the sharp edge of the leaf make this.

Moody and beautiful, Brent. It strikes me as a subtle take on your blooming orchid, with that touch of moss in the corner. Very very nice.

such nice subdues colors...is it a cactus in the bottom?

Standard good staff from you, brent. I like composition and colors here.

This is an unusual effect! The woolly-looking thing at lower left intrigues me: cactus, I think ... but it could even me a bit of rough woven cloth.
