The top half of this image intrigues me the most, I am still trying to determine what this is. :)

Thanks for the comments so far. The clowns red nose and his 'mouth' are the illuminasted neon signs of a local hotel. The coloured rainbow 'hair' and the eyes/eyebrows are a fun fair wheel some further distance behind. if I get a chance I'll see if I shot a properly focused one and post it in the originals gallery. This was deliberate for the challenge you know :-)
Cheers

A person can find all sorts of subliminal images in here! I'm thinking it's a stained-glass church window? But if so, the sacred is decidedly secular. :)

I see the face of the clown. I also see the Ferris Wheel, etc.

Very cool shot, Gareth. The closer lights almost look like "light flowers".

Expecting a real techies report on the E-3 soon. Hope to learn more about the real edge handling,

brent

Yes, maybe it's the French sense of humor - I reckon Marc knew there would be a few folk with E-3's :-)
Back to the image - I can't figure out what it is (a jukebox maybe?) but the way the OOF lights have spread gives a great effect.

I like this picture and the irony of it is just great. For years people have been asking for a faster AF, IS and more focus points. Finally Olympus delivers everything people have been asking for and the first picture made with an E3 that is posted in one of these challenges is something like this.

By the way, the pic is unsharp, the dr is crap, and i can see some noise when viewing pic at 1600%.
Oooops, wrong challenge...

Bloody hell, Gareth, you're fast ! I like the way it looks like somebody with a butterfly tie (that's what we call it us Gauls). (private mode) I should email u tomorrow regarding the wedding, there's some news you might be interested in.
(end of private mode).
