Thank you all for your critical comments. I thought I was a good photographer when I came to this forum and was surprised to learn how little I actually knew. I love learning and believe me I had I shot this image a year ago I would have not cropped the image at all. You all have taught me a lot and I am sure that I have yet lots more to learn. Thanks again for your comments. This forum is better than any photography course available at the University of Tennessee. I know because I have checked into several of them and rejected them because of their narrow focus on photography.

Record heat for today in MN, nearly 90* in OCT. It was nuts and quite honestly I hated it. LOL However, it sure made me appreciate and love this shot even more. I love the sparkling touch you got out of the water. I also enjoy the nice colors reflected from the buildings on the water, those reds are sweet! Nice capture Richard, good job!

I completely agree with Miro. The water is not too liquid and not too solid. Just right. Stefan

Very, very, nice. I like when the water is not totally blurred, or totally frozen. It is enough sharp, to know what it is and blurred a little to know it's alive.

Thanks Colin and Mark, I am learning the hard way: post it, analyze it, crop and repost it. I should just get in closer with the camera, but the real image is often, at least for me, not seen until it is on this computer screen :o)

I didn't see the first one, but this one is excellent. Nice colours, and a warm feeling to it that suits the title well. Good find.

Ah, I like this much better than the orignal crop (or image?), really nice ballance to the composition now there is much more attention on those refelctions in the wet area.
