the blown highlights were added - a bit of high key to add some punch.

This is one of those images where a few blown highlights adds to the mood of the shot, I think you can take the scene two ways, dark with a sense of impending danger or caring and warm.

Lot's to love about this pic in my opinion. I still can't get past the circus thing.....I keep think elephants and clowns.

I like everything about this Lenzflair. For all the reasons Brent mentioned and then... there is this darkness that moves over the scene. That darkness that the media and recent horrific crimes against children bring to mind. And then I see that blackness of the tunnel and the ironic title above the entrance and a cold chill comes over me.

Lenzflair. This is really something - the uber tough look on the guy - then holding the balloon and the obvious tenderness and protectiveness toward his daughter. Some how makes it seem all the more tender. Excellent take - passages on so many levels - brent
