Thanks for the comments, Katherine, This is the one and only time that I have ever seen such a cloud formation. Catman. I happen to be one that really likes lots of DOF and so intentionally shot this at f/16 on a tripod with MLU. Sorry, I did not think (as usual) to shoot any at a more open aperture. Thanks -- Bob K.

This leaves me speachless. I treid to form some thoughts about it but, all I can do is lok at it. after lokkin at EXIF I wonder if you shot one with less DOF

I love that cloud. it's such a miracle when they occur and then are captured so we can see it too!

Thanks for the comments, Brent, I think you need to switch to some lighter reading. Someday Yellowstone is going to blow and no one will have any more worries. Jan, the apocalyptic look is what I was shooting for. -- Bob K.

An ordinary day in the U.S... I used to have these dreams - a normal day, turned to chaos. I thought we were really heading out of that kind of mentality, but as a race, we seem determined to keep heading back there. What a shot, Bob! brent
