The Burren
by jltaylor

I have been living in Ireland this summer, and doing a bit of hiking.
After thousands of years of occupation, nothing is left untouched by human development.

H Dennis, I'd liee to see it, could you post it in the thread in the forum, and how
you changed it (if jono doesn't care). I'm not going to have any computer access for a
few days. jt

Love the view and composition but agree on the contrast. I hope you don't mind but I took the liberty of doing a bit of retouching on this image. Happy to show or send it to you. Hope this doesn't break the rules for the challenge!
Cheers
Dennis

That stone wall is beautiful. I would love to visit here with the rolling hills coming into the sea. There seems to be very little that is not occuppied. An excellent presentation with something very interesting to grab you in the foreground and leads you into the distant vistas - brent

I agree about the contrast, but I'd want to use a layered mask to keep from blowing out the sky. Will have to wait til I get back to a faster computer and Photoshop.

Very nice comp. Might like a boost in contrast though.

I like these moody irish shots. I should go back there a few weeks...

But it is still completely beautiful J.!! Now you make me long to go back to northern England and Scotland again! I fell madly in love with the dry stone walls there and this one is a beauty too. Thank you for this wondeful view.
