So funny Christie, When I was admiring this and typing my comments I put Flamingo and then thought "wait a minute, that was a Pelican?" and retyped it. I just thought they had some really exotic Pelicans down there in Kansas, you know how special we are. LOL It could be feathers in a hat and they are still just as beautiful!

I really enjoy how the angle of the light comes in at opposing angles to the feathers. Really a beautiful picture - very well done!

Thank you all for your comments and good words. I really appreciate it. I feel like a real idiot though. I was so eager to use the peach title, that I misidentified the bird. So, instead of Pelican in Peach, it's actually Flamingo in Peach. Doesn't have the same ring to it, but it is what it tis.

This is the most beautiful photograph of a birds feathers I think I've ever seen. Such wonderful colors and the compositition is so nice. You do very good bird photography Christie, so artistic.

Very nice and pleasent picture. Colors are,....icecream is first was came to mind. It deserve "hanging".
