this is so gritty and mellow and forlorn, with the main character half obscured. very nice. Katherine

Hmmmm
I too was thinking book cover.............A real dichotomy of lonliness and hope. I like it and love that you are not afraid to make images in all kinds of light and situations. Someone said something like "there is no such thing as good light, just good use of it" This shot proves that and is way more than a picture.

I'd not seen this before either Alistair. I do really enjoy it, it has a very enigmatic feel to it, and totally British. A perfect cover for a novel. Thanks as always. Adrian

I have not seen this before. The suggestion of form outside of the window are very enticing - the person (almost distinct) giving way to feelings of water, perhaps an island, and the feeling of waiting, being and just hanging out. A nice wispy, thready kind of light bathing all. Very nice Alistair!

I like the tones in this and the shadowy figure gives it a sense of spookyness or mood.
