Thanks Brent and charlie.
Brent, I didn't do the whole structure, but probably a google search for mirror obe;isk, Winchester Cathedral grounds mught bring up a pic. The rounds disks were pulsing lights.
Charlie, i find refelections intriguing too. I like the layers of dimension they always seem to offer.

As you know I am fascinated by reflection shots. I think it's because they have a magnetism about them and offer another dimension.....I cant say why I enjoy this as it changes all the time and every time I view it. Such is the nature of refection.

An obelisk! I had to look it up to see what it was. I would not have guessed that. It adds interesting dimension - both the ever present co-mingling of beliefs and what we see is not what is necessarily there. Thanks for the clarification. If you posted a more complete view, even if not very good, (somewhere) that would be interesting :-)

Thanks both.
Marc, this was a trip to Winchester (I actually live in Oxford) so i took the camera.
I bought the E1 becaue it is so portable and light compared with my Kodak 14nx. However, I don't always carry it, though the idea was to have it so that I could take a camera everywhere and never miss a shot.
Brent, this was not in fact a window. It's a strange obelisk, made of mirors and with flashing lights, and is tucked away in a corner of the cathedral close.

Haha! You even caught your close up reflections on the windpw. Gives you the feeling like your looking through an aquarium. Great shot!

I never carry my cam when shopping ; that's a mistake apparently. Nice one Flick, very spontaneous.
