Love this Shirley, almost a Dagguerotype quality. The negative is fun too,

Katherine thanks for the nice comment, I've not taken enough time to get all my comments done, that is for me to do tomorrow! You're very right it does look like a woodblock print! Charlie's idea worked out great too!

Thanks Alistair, this is a fun challenge and it's so good to be back~!
Charlie, just for you I put the negative of this in originals plus I flipped it around so it is negative and backwards too. Pretty neat idea, thanks!

Yes nice tree, can almost feel the cool shade... It's one of those photos that grows on you the more you look at it. Alistair

I've looked and looked at this and keep wanting to crop one side or the other. I can't figure which so it must be just perfect as is! You really do have a genuine ability to see a good pic Shirley. The B&W is great here and might look really great paired/framed with another copy of the same but "reversed" or actually the negative of this.

this has such a 'woodblock' feel to it. And so much texture! I like it.

Thanks so much. Brent, this tree actually always looks like it just got out of the barber shop. I feel a bit guilty because there wasn't much PP work done here. I only converted it to b&w. I took this picture with back sunlight, the tree was exposed properly but the background got blown out and around the edges of the willows outside branches. I'm just glad ya'll like it.

Looks like an etching! Just a wonderful job - have to compliment someone on the cutting job!
