Wow thanks Doens.
No need to feel sorry. I appreciate you taking so much time. I am often drawn to geometry and converging lines. I am NOT a scientist and have the patience of a puppy so I just work a little more intuitively, for better or worse. I may just go back now and play with the angles a bit more. I very much appreciate your time on my simple pic :-)

Oh Charlie,
it looks like you did crop it some pixels more to the left- I like it better this way.
I am a little bit anal, but I am German, and a scientist, so I hopefully am allowed to be...
I would try to crop some more pixel-rows from the top, and make the center of the diagonal tube touch the corner at the right.
Once again it might work, or it could lose.
I would have compose the shot until the front pole on the left would have covered the behind one- and the upper horizontal pole would have touched the middle diagonal of the behind--perfectly geometrical, but I have to admit, that I like the slightly offset even better-I just would not have done it that way( before analyzing your shot-this slightly offset makes it look better-and the loss in brightness helps to understand.
The more I look at it, the better I like it

Thanks doehns,
You just might be on to something there!! I will give it a shot.

Interesting that you mentioned the crop of the pole at the right. Did you try to crop it to the center of that ole as well? Would make the diagonal touch the corner and fix the horizontals- just a guess-might not work at all.
I like it a lot as it is- esspecially the diagonal of the wall touching the corner of the poles- very geometrical, and it reminds of that optical ilusion, where suddenly one square is missing.

Thanks Flick,
I am rather fond of this one. Easily dismissed by many I think, but with a little time spent it really holds my attention and curiosity. I have tried it with the pole at right cropped but it looses all it's balance even though it seems to add depth.

Well Paul, coming from you that is a very nice compliment. Thank you.

Hey Charlie, You really have a great since of composition in most everything you do keep up the good work.
