Great picture. Over the years i have taken of lot pictures of all kind of statues and Buddha's. It never occured to me to take a picture like this. Thank you for the idea.

I left that bit of vegetation on his nostril deliberately, a kind of jarring counterpoint, the world intruding, a distraction from contemplation, whatever you want to see in it. But I take your poiint.

Nice modeling and textures. The patina gives the feeling of timeless meditation (nothing can divert the attention). A very nice balance. (the orange on the nostril is a bit distracting). Very well done Flick - brent
