C32 -Black & White - 1st - sunshine by adrianox

today was gorgeous - the first in over 6 months - 25degrees (celcius), and a gentle breeze. I spent several hours under this Plane tree with Denise, and just had to take a pic. Seems like quite a few of us have enjoyed the woods these past few days ;-)

other sizes: small medium original auto

Hi Adrian - I'm rather hacked off about this shot.
I post my nice oak leaves shot, and then you come up with this.
The Oak leaves now have to go (but I'll wait a few days so this message still has a meaning)
this is so obviously and fundamentally superior.
I could sulk, but I'll try and be spurred on to greater things.
What I'm trying to say is that this is a spiffing image - in every respect.
kind regards jono

It is almost like one of those MC Escher drawings. The shacow is falling on the leaf, then you folllow the stem and it is closer to the camera! Like the veins and echoes of the partial shapes. very easy to like - brent

This is simply amazing. This has to be one of the strongest pictures that I have seen of yours. Not just the composition, but the imagination. I really learn something from every photo you post...

This picture and the picture of Jono Slack really invite a comparison. The shadow that is about, but not exactly, the same shape as the leave, makes this picture very special. This leave is pointed, therefore it gives a more harsh impression.

It seems it is beautiful all over the world! It's been lovely here too! The leaves are very wonderful Adrian!
