I prefer her disengaged, makes it a lines shot. Very good shot, makes the rest of our stuff look trivial by comparison.

thanks for the comments. She actually has a wonderful smile, but she chose to look to the side. I wasn't intending for her face to be a focal point anyway. In looking away, I feel she is separating herself from the difficult process that is sustaining her life.

this capture is perfect to theme, beautifully composed, and like all great images, stretches us, the viewer. excellent!
