snowstorm - brent

Could be called "Wishing for Spring", I suppose. But I really love snow - and any kind of storm makes me want to get right out in the middle of it and "experience nature". Lucky for me I do not live near active volcanos or in the hurricane belt.

Thanks all for the comments. Shirley, perhaps it is the way the sharpness fades as you work to the background (I know it helps w/ fog shots) the other picture worked just because you could see the snow against the darker background. - brent

Looks so cold! I love the fact that you still managed to get in some interest in the foreground for contrast.

You really captured the storm well with your photos Brent. I'm trying to figure out how you do it! I took several off my balcony while you were out in the thick of it and mine just look like film grain instead of snow LOL Maybe the trick is to not be such a whimp and get out in the mix of things! Great pictures!

I'm with you on the snow Brent. Having lived in the mountains of Colo. Mn. and Ilinois they all provide me with snow. Though not enough this year. What an inviting scene you have produced. I walk right in with a a cold wet face heading under the trees to the small opening between them and the barn. I wonder what I will find back there?

Thanks for the opening Brent.

Funny how every one has their own "thing" they bring into a picture - isn't it? Thanks for the nice comment.

Brent, i love the quality of softness and light you achieve in your photos - very film-like in the most positive interpretation of the term.
