Money (Pink Floyd) - Image by Christie King

Money, it’s a crime.
Share it fairly but don’t take a slice of my pie.
Money, so they say
Is the root of all evil today.
But if you ask for a raise it’s no surprise that they’re
Giving none away.

Very cool. Glad I clicked on the thumbnails (which doesn't even hint at the fun within).

Thanks Christie, fun looking in at it a little closer! Fun looking at it period! As you may know, I'm from Kansas too (transplanted to MN) I've never been up to KU all my family went to KSU. I see someone left a bill there saying Go Cats! LOL Aggieville is a fun walk also.

As requested... I converted the original raw to an 8bit/channel jpg with additional sharpening and have uploaded to my server. The converted 6.4MB file may be downloaded here:

I'll leave it up until the end of the challenge period.
Happy reading!

Christie - I'm glad you went back. You wouldn't be interested in posting a larger version in the "originals" gallery - would you? would be kind of interesting to get a closer look. You could delete it after a couple days... brent

Thanks guys for your comments.
Yes, Brent, there is a life-story to this shot… I had gone to Lawrence, KS yesterday to attend a photo exhibit on Mass. Street. Home of the Kansas Jayhawks, Mass Street is a popular and rather eclectic street full of breweries, eateries, art galleries, book stores, etc., which cater to the college crowd. It’s a fun place to walk around with a camera and shoot all the unusual sights. So, it was with this bar & grill called Jefferson’s. The walls were papered with dollar bills (hence the Jefferson name!). And of course with my timing, I had to loiter the streets for another hour until they opened the place so I could go inside and get this shot (and swig a few brews! kidding)

Awww Christie! I was sure hoping you would enter something, you do some very nice photography and this one is so fun and interesting to look at. I wish I could zoom in and read all the stuff people wrote on these bills. Great entry! Oh and I like that you included some of the cieling bills too. Good songphoto!
