As you already know, this is one of my favorite photos. It makes you want to ease drop on them to hear the stories they're telling. I wonder if that fellow on the left is exagerating and it was really only 1 not 2. Or maybe he is saying "Look me straight in the eyes when you tell such a story!" ;o) Shirley (MercurySoft1)

i really like this, as i told you when you had it posted on dpreview. The reason i didn't comment before was that i knew it was wrongly dated for the competition gallery but didn't want to be the one to point the finger. Love the sense of familiarity and interaction between them, love the expressions and the low winter light. A glimpse of life that we've mostly lost in the UK, i feel. Flick.

Oops - I thought it said 15th NOVEMBER to 26 December? This is doubtless my error not yours, but just checking before I pull it! Date is 12/12, which is correct.

G'day Louis - I love this one. They are totally focused/engrossed on the story teller, and the comp and light are excellent. Tough lighting too. A small point, but if the date on the image is correct, (and i know i sometimes have an incorrect time on mine), could i ask that you move this to the exhibition gallery. I'm sure you wont have any trouble finding others to take it's place. Cheers, adrian
