Thank you Chris for your kind and constructive remarks. As to joining a contest somewhere else, I always do the Kodak challenges (am moderating the current one). Why don't you take a look with a view to entering next time? Adrian already entered. We'd love to have your work in the galleries :-) Flick.

another amazing shot! can't you join a contest somewhere else? hehehe... but really, it almost has the transluscent feel of looking through a microscope, or through the wings of an insect. love the colour and, as usual, your eye for composition is among the best! christopher t.
