i guess my initial comments on the crop are:
- it diminishes some what the association to the 'building(s)' theme (probably a bit of a stretch anyway?) - focusing more on the girl, rather than the 'built' environment she's in?
- Overall, I think i prefer gmc's crop to my initial out of the camera (grossly overexposed) pic when you evaluate it on it's own merits, rather than it's context to the theme?, but (and there is a but for me) it loses some of the feeling of light and space that i do like in the original..
