Hey, my friend, I have been through this, my Nora was also 17, I cried,, I admit it, when she passed, that is natural, my Dad is 91, ,my Mom just turn 89, in the next few years, I will also have to see another transition, she is beautiful

She's getting close to the end. Weeks maybe, but more like days. I've been shooting photos daily and may replace my original entry. Most however are with her eyes closed. Sleep is a constant friend to her right now.

I had a male cat we named Oats, he lived to 19 years. We used to live by a butcher and the butcher and his wife befriended Oats. When I had to move I asked them if they would like to keep Oats. They were tickled and I knew Oats would be happy with them. They thought I called him Boots so he got a new name too. He didn't mind. So as long as your little mama feels good, I wish her a few more years.
