a good example, I live in the NE US so we have plenty of water, once regulations cleaned up the industry, but out west, they are hurting, too many people, too little water, I try to conserve, when I turn the tap on, I do realize, the waste,(but short showers are still difficult), your golden colors are quite nice
I grew up in Kansas, which could be rather dry also. I remember they would burn the field stubble from the wheat each year. Always on a calm day, which was hard to come by in Kansas. They got the nitrogen back into the soil by burning. Now they put chemicals onto the fields. I really love the buildings in your picture Henry; they look like the abandoned farmsteads on the plains. Here's hoping for just the right amount of rain to soak into the empty fields.
