Thanks for your comments. It sounds like I was successful in getting across the effect I wanted. When I saw the sky I visualized it in B&W with a yellow filter, printed on a grade 3 paper. The hard part was finding a place to pull over and shoot! (I was driving home from a concert, thus the odd camera / lens combo.)

Great light, well caught. It would never have occured to me to use sepia for a scene like this but you've made it work. Yaelle
