I knew it was a 'he' because of the flat butt! lol

Chris, the reason that she is not using a broom is because 'she' is a 'he'. A woman would find an easier way for sure.
I might have done just a little bit of tone mapping to make the colour pop a bit more but it was very light touch :-)

Yaelle, Why is she NOT using a broom to perform this ardous task?

Was some extra pp used to achieve those colours?

Otherwise great catch.

Wonderful image of daily life. I too like the splashes of gold/yellow.

Very nice image. Its like something out of dickens " The Old Curiosity Shop" I do like the colours. One of these images you have to keep coming back to.

Brilliant. I have to come here so that you guys can tell me why I like the picture. I sure could't work it out. I never wanted this one in B&W because I liked the colours too much.

I forgot the yellow brown tips on the sneakers, one more complementary color

it is the yellow -gold, the 76, letter box slit in the door, the yellow from the cropped windows, , the name on the door, the yellow in the cleaning solution, his yellow rag, and then against the blue-green - painted, building, complimentary colors in different shades, a favorite for sure,,

I love the colors! I bet it was killing you deciding color vs. b&w. Just doing a bit of spring cleaning in the late summer. I'm very drawn to this photo. It's just another day, but those are the best ones sometimes.
