1st Place, C221 "Liquid Movement": Crossing Peltier Dam-Shirley
by Shirley Haden

It was a pretty day, but don't let that fool you, this water is ice cold, I got cold feet just watching this young man go barefoot across the foot of the dam and then back again. Brrrrrrr!

lol, I didn't even think of that Frank. Yes he does have a white stick. I knew he was crazy walking across that cold water barefoot, and now he can't even see where he's going! Nope, he's only a die hard fisherman, like us photographers going after a good photo, these fisherman do crazy stuff just to catch a fish. ha!

I keep thinking this guy is blind (he's got a white stick)...

Nice one, Shirley. I like this. The liquid movement is reflected nicely in the virtually still pond.

Now this I really like. The dam holding back the water and the magic reflections. Very well captured.

I certainly hope he caught something to make it worth the chilly walk. You certainly caught something Shirley. A wonderful image.

You got that right Henry. His toes must have been numb!

Late in the season for a barefoot crossing, lots of Liquid Movement and great reflections.
