Realized this was shot at 43mm so it was in macro mode... looks huge, but was smaller than it seems.

Wow, what amazing textures! I have some fern fossils from our own region and it's amazing how these plants have endured through so many epochs.

Oh I like this, it does have that primeval feel to it. Its like being in a jungle waiting for a dinosaur to show up.
