As many other cities, Barcelona was surrounded by a wall.
As a result, ground was scarce, which produced things like this thin building.

This image is a bit tricky, because this building has a triangular base actually (quite narrow triangle though), but from some point of view it looks that odd. Brad, I don't doubt that inhabitants must exercise their imagination when playtime is arrived, which is a good thing in general ;o) endika

Oh,, one needs to either sleep standing up in those bedrooms or else enjoy the extreme fetal position when sleeping, and what about other bedroom activities, let's just say, , missionaries would have a difficult time instructing these indigenous people

It is quite funny to look at and even more funny to think what an individual house would be like in that building. First floor, living room, 2nd floor, kitchen and dining room, 3rd floor bathroom and laundry room, 4th floor master bedroom, 5th floor 2 bedrooms and a bath for the kids. LOL
