I guess I am with Stefan, I would have definitely cropped off the truck or reshot. Or painstakingly removed it. HA! I can see how I might be short sighted to wish it gone. Either way, it is a good representation of summer evenings enjoying sitting outdoors.

Really like this! It is a slice of the moment and truly captures that.

I like the SUV in shoot too, gives a real feeling of the hustle and bustle going on around the diners

Thanks for the comments! This was shot from the hip, and I did purposely include the SUV... This was actually out of my comfort zone on a couple levels... zone focusing on a legacy lens, 28mm not a FL I regularly use, and actually including people in the shot.

To me the SUV passing just shows the bustle of city life passing while the diners relax for a while with friends, Nice shot - Michael

Nah, Stefan, that makes the scene too static, I like the city element, street and vehicle , different strokes for different folks, I like how we all see these things differently

I would go the other way -- cropping in from the bottom right to lose both the pavement and the vehicle. For me, both of those elements draw attention away from the diners. That's my 2 cents' worth. --Stefan

And that yellow stripe, on the road

That SUV or whatever one calls those large vehicles, that makes one cursing as one backs out of a parking placing place because it blocks one,s view, in this case, really adds to this scene, great catch , Art
