Which is an extreme crop. For those of you who may not know, the "+" means I put the original photo in the originals, reduced in size but without a crop.

I am selling my 50-200mm SWD lens and I purchased a used older model 50-200mm non SWD lens. It might just be my imagination, but I find this old lens to be extremely sharp. I missed it. So if you can go to a store and get an old used one that is warranted for 30 days to test the lens, I would go for it! Especially if you don't have this lens already. I paid $400.00 for this lens at National Camera Exchange here in MN. They offered me $600 for the SWD, I think I'll sell it outright for $700.00 or so.

Wow, talk about a serious crop!! And it looks great ... you didn't lose clarity and detail. Impressive.
