The last blacksmith_by Dennis

A bit of family history in my hometown.
My great grandfather founded a blacksmith's business at Orbost in 1889.
He was later joined by his son (my grandfather) and in 1947 by my late father.
My father retired in 1991 and the doors of the blacksmith shop closed forever.
The image depicts how the blackshop looks today but its original wooden frame structure remains intact. In the foreground is a historical sign outlining its history.
My grandfather is in both the larger photos and my father is in the smaller two in the left hand bottom corner.

What a great bit of history! I suppose over the years there wasn't as much need for a blacksmith. The photos in the historical marker are really neat. Maybe you could put a larger shot of the marker in originals? If you want to that is. I'd enjoy seeing that too. I love that you managed to get both the marker and the shop in this photo and the sepia tones worked well too.
