Chris, this is an old building on my property that was once a boathouse - it dates back many years; my house itself was mentioned in a 1912 newspaper and probably existed earlier. This is now just a place to hang out, think, read. There is no electricity or plumbing so one must revisit the main house for these amenities. The chair is a relic from the past; the photos on the wall are by a noted Nova Scotian photographer named Wallace MacAskill, who died in 1950. They are signed originals that my parents owned. It is worth looking him up online as he was a most amazing character!

Rocking chairs will go on forever. More so ones that have a sentimental attactment. I love the old lamp and the wooden walls
