I think the pelicans down in Australia are a bit better looking than our while American Pelican. This is a lovely shot of your pelican, showing off all the colors very nicely.

I just love this, I have seen them in the wild in Minnesota but never as close and detailed as this and we dont have them in England

Pelicans always looked quite odd to me, I suppose because there are not pelicans here and we are not used to see them. I think they are one of the species that better shows the nexus of birds with dinosaurs. endika
