Eating Oysters (Do Not Vote) - Brad

Scrape the oyster knife to loosen oyster from the shell. Place some cocktail sauce which has horseradish and tomato. Pick up the shell and SLURP!

Shirley, oysters should be eaten alive! Cooking is sacrilege!

oh, Shirley, I forgot to, comment, when you eat a raw oyster, you are tasting the sea,,and each locality tastes different,, all a liitle but salty but just a little different,

this is actually a cutting board, that I just bought, 13 X 18,, it just happens to fit on my double sink (on the left side),, it is made from end grain of Larch tree (you can Widkepedia that tree), I take the picture by standing on a stool, looking straight down,, with a couple IKEA lights looking down, the first two had the 50LR flash this one with the oysters displayed, without flash because it reflected too much off the plate,, these are raw,, but cooked is good too

I find this so interesting. I was wondering, were these ever cooked? I've never ate a raw oyster. I love oyster stew (which is basically-open can into pot-add half stick of butter-pour in milk-heat and eat). Don't forget I was raised in Kansas, you can't get much further from fresh seafood, until you move to MN. HA! I think these look delish! I agree with Brent that your table is very pretty and makes for a great background for your oysters.
