My dad grew up up a remote farm in Scotland, he told me that one of his weekly chores was to dig a new sanitory pit every few weeks and then he and his brother would move the outhouse to its new location. Makes you really appreciate modern WC's !!!

Thanks Brent. This outhouse is in a group of shanties by the sea on a lonely beach. I have a vertical version as well, without the shanties being so visible. I used this one because the little cabins themselves are quite primitive (put up by squatters, since no one can own a beach in NS) so the outhouse is totally needed. But I know what you mean and might try the vertical and see which one works best. I have room for one more entry. :)
Looks like one gives up modesty here (door does not close?) The colors and textures here are just incredible. I would be tempted to crop the house on the left out, a bit off top and bottom to bring the outhouse more as the focus of the picture.
