fascinating and repulsive at the same time - brent

There is something so dreadful about death - like we are not supposed to really get too close (perhaps an instinct born out of parasites?).

My first instinct is to back away. But maybe just one picture first...

I almost always take at least one picture.

I totally understand because I do the same thing. Not sure I should admitt it, but I get the picture home and then zoom in to have an even closer look. I groos myself out then delete the picture. I see it's a bat, what do you suppose happened to it? I love bats, I mean...look at that little hand!
