Thanks for the comments. This was a family affair picture, what you do not see, is my wife, controlling Loki, waiting for my signal, before she throws the stick, while I hope he jumps just the way I want him too! Tried 4 times to get just the "right" one. He loves his sticks, I call him a German Logger, not Shepherd.

Just about perfect- exposure, timing... One foot just touching the water, next frame would be the big splash!

This is more than just another dog shot Lawrence. The scene is just beautiful. I love the splash of the stick, it just brings everything else to life. Really a wonderful photo.
